Im a freshman now majoring in computer science and I want to to be a software engineer, do you think I could get a well paying job as a SE with just a Bachelor’s Degree?
My goal is to graduate and begin working full time and maybeee later down the road begin taking classes for my masters but if it’s not possible ill continue upon graduating to get my masters right away.
Also does it matter if my major is computer science and not SE?

I’m interested in working with dogs/cats & other small animals.
I want to get a bachelor degree & then pursue a masters.
Of course I would LOVE to become a vet but I need a backup,
any suggestions?

I think their should be an asterick beside an online degree. From my experience a lot of what you learn is from interacting with teachers, and other students. I know some of you onliners will forcefully disagree. Too bad you can’t say it to my face.

Currently, I am a sophomore mechanical engineering student at the University of Arkansas. I don’t know if it would be worth it to get a masters degree also? And if I do, should I go to a high-ranked college in the engineering discipline, like an ivy league? I basically want to make as much money as possible without going past a master’s degree.

I wish to get a Bachelor Degree but for that I have to study for 4 years. And I dont know whether I’d get shift to another country within 2 years.
So if I have an Associate degree, how many more years should I continue to receive my bachelor degree?

I have my BA in English, my secondary teaching certification, and almost finished my American Sign Language Interpreter’s Certification. However, I am now working as an Executive Assistant (because sadly, the money is better) and would like to go back to school to get my Masters Degree in something that could relate to either job. So, if you don’t have military or law enforcement experience, I advise you now to start looking into schools that offer bachelors degree in criminal justice. 2. Getting a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice will help you make more money than somebody with an associate degree or high school diploma. A bachelor degree holder makes about $59,000 per year compared to an associate degree holder that makes about $40,000 per year and a high school diploma holder that makes $26,000 per year.

Not that your math is bad, but I can not help but point out that this is a difference of $19,000 per year over an associate degree holder and $33,000 per year over a high school graduate. This kind of salary difference should be motivation enough for somebody to seriously consider getting their bachelors degree in criminal justice.

3. Somebody with a bachelors degree in criminal justice will get better promotion opportunities than an associate degree holder or high school graduate. This is just a fact of life.

Let’s take your typical police department as an example. It is no secret that making detective is one of the career progressions any police officer will desire. But increasingly, a bachelors degree is becoming one of the requirements for attaining the rank of detective. Sure, somebody with high school diploma or associate degree can still get be detective with years of experience, but it is difficult to pass up that police officer with a bachelors degree that wants the position also.

I am currently earning my BFA in Theatre Studies. I am now thinking that I would like to continue my education and earn a Masters Degree. I think I would like to work in the administrative side of the theatre, possibly as an artistic or managing director.
